Powershare and outlets
What the outlets deliver, how home backup works, and the limits Tesla publishes.
Outlets
- Cargo bed: two 120V outlets (20A combined) and one 240V outlet (40A).
- Cabin: two 120V outlets (20A combined), separate from the bed's 120V budget.
- All AC outlets together are limited to 40A. With several loads, power to each may be reduced or cut.
- The outlet cover must be open, and outlets stop when you leave and close the doors.
Home backup
Powershare home backup can supply up to 11.5 kW. Your installed charging equipment can lower that, and Tesla strongly recommends a 240V circuit. Home backup needs Tesla's Powershare equipment installed; the bed outlets need no extra hardware.
